"And Away We Go"
We're packing for a Sunday departure on our annual migration to Duluth, MN. This time we're taking a different and longer route through Mobile, Alabama and making eight stops -- one of them for two nights. Our phone number will be (218) 788-1554. Please keep in touch. I like to hear my readers news.

Summertime (and the livin' is easy)
When out our front door we see the flame of this Royal Poinciana, we know the summer heat is upon us. Our migration to the cool shores of Lake Superior is imminent.

Movies
Today we overdid it at Movico. First, there was a pre-release screening of Shrek 2 in 3D and then we saw Babies. Shrek is fun, witty, charming and I liked it, but don't worry if you miss it. I wasn't expecting much from Babies but I found it enjoyable, interesting and with no story, relaxing -- no plot to keep up with.

Burn the Floor
Last night we ushered at the Kravis for a theatrical dance extravaganza called “Burn the Floor.” I enjoyed it and was particularly impressed with the precision of the choreography. The canned music combined flawlessly with the two live percussionists. The dancers, the great high-tech lighting, and the music were all perfectly together. But, for me, even with earplugs, it was too loud.
Monday evening we went to a program at "The Harriet" by the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County for the finale of "2010 Read Together Palm Beach County." By Skype, Scott Eyman interviewed, from Australia, Markus Zusak, author of The Book Thief.
Sunday night we went to the Sunfest fireworks. As always, we felt it was the best -- This time, there were more new displays than ever.
